System Performance Check
We begin by testing the air conditioning system’s pressures and cooling performance to identify any signs of refrigerant loss.
Vacuum Testing
The system is evacuated and placed under vacuum to check whether it can hold pressure. A loss of vacuum can indicate a leak within the system.
UV Dye Detection
Where required, a specialist UV dye can be added to the air conditioning system. As the refrigerant circulates, the dye escapes through any leak points. Using a UV inspection lamp, we can quickly identify the source of
the leak.
Electronic Leak Detection
Advanced electronic leak detectors can identify even the smallest traces of escaping refrigerant, helping pinpoint leaks in pipes, condensers, evaporators, seals, and connections.
Repair and Recharge
Once the leak has been located, repairs can be carried out and the system recharged with the correct refrigerant and lubricant, restoring optimum cooling performance.
